BLACK MULTI-FLORAL PAPHS?  

The extremely dark Paph. glanduliferum var. Wilhelminiae crossed onto dark red-maroon vini colors should produce exciting new hybrids.  Many of the early blooming plants from these crosses have had extremely dark maroon to black flowers.  All have been very easy, fast growing, multi-florals.  We see this as a sensational new line of dark multi-floral breeding.

Wilhelminiae is a very fast growing multi-floral with hybrids starting to bloom 3 1/2 to 4 years from seed.  The dorsal sepal has a creamy yellow background with dark maroon-brown stripes.  The petals and pouch are maroon brown.
